Book making kits for Japanese stab binding, mini sewn books, codex style books, and accordion style books
are a great way to introduce yourself to the wonderful world of hand bound books. The book making kit instructions are

Star Books Kit~ These are just simply grand when they are completed. This kit makes 2 star books,
1 measures 3" x 3" and the other measures 4" x 4". It includes all the materials needed to complete both books- all
you need to provide are scissors, glue, pencil & ruler, wax paper, bone folder and 1/4" wide 2 sided tape (1/2" will work
also). You are then on your way to become a Star Book creator. Remember, you can then use these instructions and
your own supplies to go on and create many more books. I have found the instructions for these books to be very good

does not reflect the wacky way this unfolds but the finished product is sure to bring ooohs and aaahs.

a winner. I don't have a sample made as yet, but the finished size is 5 x 6.5 inches. The kit comes complete with
1 accordion book spine, 4 pieces of chipboard for cover, 12 mega library pockets and 12 pocket inserts. Instructions
are included and this company, The Paper Cut, does a good job with them. I am the kind of person who is better shown
how somethng is done rather than reading instructions so when I can do something via the instructions, I think they have done
a good job. A library pocket is what they used to have in the library books when you would check them out. So
it has that retro feel too. I saw it finished and fell in love with it. I hope to have a sample up soon.
It comes in white and you can color it with Tim Holtz Distress Inks or add pattern paper or color with chalks, crayons, paint,
etc.
